Bobby Whitlock & CoCo Carmel w/Nick Michael Taylor!

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be joining Bobby Whitlock & CoCo Carmel on lead guitar on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at McGonigel's Mucky Duck in Houston, TX.

As many of you know, Bobby was a co-founder of Derek & the Dominos along with Eric Clapton, Carl Radle and Jim Gordon. He not only sang and played both keys and acoustic guitar on “Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs” but also co-wrote many of the classic songs on that record including "Bellbottom Blues," "Keep On Growing," "Anyday," "Tell The Truth," "Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad?" and "I Looked Away."

Bobby has also appeared on some of rock & roll's greatest albums including George Harrison’s “All things Must Pass” and the Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main Street.”

Bobby and his wife Coco are featured in the newly released documentary “The Road to Austin” and his autobiography “Bobby Whitlock: A Rock n Roll Autobiography” is a fantastic read. Bobby and CoCo have been traveling playing around the world and making records for the past fourteen years. In addition to singing and playing acoustic guitar and saxophone, CoCo engineers and produces all their records, the latest being “Carnival Live from Austin” complete with an all star line up.

Bobby and CoCo are setting up the new year with a solo record on Bobby to be produced by Rob Fraboni (The Rolling Stones, The Band's The Last Waltz, John Lennon, Bob Dylan).

We'll be doing many of the Dominos' songs from the "Layla" album as well as some of Bobby & CoCo's recent material and perhaps a few other surprises. I am deeply honored to be playing lead guitar again with Bobby and CoCo.

You don't want to miss this!
